Worldcoin is a cryptocurrency and digital identity project aimed at creating a global financial and identity network. Its mission is to increase economic opportunity, distinguish humans from AI online while preserving privacy, enable global democratic processes, and potentially pave the way for AI-funded Universal Basic Income (UBI).
In a recent video, analyst Shah Faisal Shah from YouTube gave the prospects of Worldcoin providing both short-term and long-term technical analysis for this cryptocurrency in 2025.
WLD Price and Technical Insights
The analyst pointed out that the Worldcoin price has been around a critical support level at $2.4, where it formed a double bottom. This double bottom had a neckline, which, when broken, suggested a potential upward movement.
However, the narrative shifts when considering the resistance at $2. If the WLD price falls below this $2 mark, it would signal the onset of a bearish trend. “If it breaks below $2, Worldcoin is going to start delivering on a bearish structure,” he warns, indicating a possible decline to $1.6, where another neckline could provide temporary support.
In the short term, as long as the $2 level holds, there’s optimism for Worldcoin. the analyst suggests that if the price maintains above this threshold, it could aim for $2.4. A sustained break above this level for over eight hours could push the price towards $2.8. If WLD can hold at $2.8 for at least two days, it might indicate a stronger bullish trend, potentially targeting $4 or even $5.

However, looking at the broader picture, the daily chart reveals a broken uptrend, painting a less rosy picture for WLD. When expanded to a weekly chart, the analysis becomes even more concerning with the formation of a Head and Shoulders pattern, a classic bearish indicator. This pattern suggests that Worldcoin could see its price plummet to as low as $1.5 or, in a worst-case scenario, drop to $0.15.
The analyst concluded by noting the importance of the $2 support level. If it remains intact, Worldcoin could see upward momentum; if not, investors should brace for a significant drop to $1.6.
